It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we said goodbye to my beautiful mumma.

As many of you know, Mum had been living with Alzheimer’s for the last few years.
I often called it ‘the long goodbye’.
Ultimately, you lose them twice. First to the disease, and then again when they finally leave this world.

Thank you to my amazing Pelci community for being so incredibly supportive and understanding.

Over the years, Pelci has held fundraisers for Alzheimer’s Research Australia, a cause that became incredibly close to our hearts because of Mum. To everyone who donated, came along to our events, supported our fundraising or helped us raise awareness — thank you. It has always meant so much to me, and even more so now.

Thank you everyone who has reached out, checked in on us, sent messages, or kept Mum and our family in your thoughts over the past few years.

She was so deeply loved and will be missed more than I can put into words.
