• SALON CLOSED • 😷 it goes without saying that the salon is closed during lockdown! At this stage, I’ll be reopening Friday afternoon. All appointments between now and then are cancelled and I’ll be contacting everyone from tomorrow to reschedule. Any appointments already book after Friday 1pm will go ahead unless we’re told otherwise.

Please be patient with me! There’s no rush as I’ll contact you all in the order of your current appointment so as to be fair.

It’s with a heavy heart that I am letting you all know that The Colour Cottage is closing as we are making the move down to QLD. It’s been a tricky few months as we haven’t really known what we’re doing and I haven’t been able to say anything, so I apologise if this comes as a shock!

After a really hard 2020, Kerry was made redundant from Qantas and we’ve taken this as an opportunity to start our new chapter together and settle these itchy feet.

I struggle to find the words to express how much I value my relationship with every client that has supported me over the last 3 years at The Colour Cottage. I’ve known some of you for five or six years and I’m always offered a special glimpse into your lives. For that I’m eternally grateful. We have been there for each other through many major events; pregnancies, losses, promotions, weddings, birthdays, moves... the list goes on. We’ve shared laughs, tears and many a delicious recipe!

This is a bittersweet move for me as I’m looking so forward to a change and some different weather (!), but I know I’ll also feel lost without my little pink salon and all of you!

I’ll be closing at the end of July and therefore I’m afraid all appointments booked after then will have to be scheduled with another salon.
I will do my best to assist you all with finding another hairdresser and appreciate your support as I navigate my way through the stress of moving and renting out our house.

To all my clients who have relocated to Brisbane, I’ll be seeing you soon as I start my new hairdressing adventure.

To my Darwin ladies, I look forward to our time together during your last few appointments.
