A worthy cause i believe.
Donate a plate to feed a person living on our streets βDonate a Plateβ to feed a person experiencing homelessness and keep our kitchens cooking this Christmas and holiday season.

A Confirmation of Aboriginality is considered a legal document that states the person who it belongs to is:
ππππππππ
1οΈβ£ ACKNOWLEDGED within an Aboriginal Community!
ππΎβ
2οΈβ£ ACCEPTED by an Aboriginal Community!
ππΎβ
3οΈβ£ MOST IMPORTANTLY.. Their BLOODLINE is of Aboriginal descent which is KNOWN within an Aboriginal Community!
ππΎβ
SO...π€ by no means should these documents be seen as a 'Tick A Box'β
π‘ advantage by Non-Indigenous people that:
π€ just grew up in our Aboriginal Communities OR
πMarried up to an Aboriginal person
OR
πjust simply knows someone on a committee board that stamps the documents with the Common Seal! π©π
OR
π€¦ββοΈ recently found out they have bloodline but are not accepted within community !
By no means am I referring to our stolen generations or our children who continue to be taken. Because...
π₯It is from Colonisation, Segregation, Disposession and Oppression that our elders fought βπΎπͺπΎ to have the right to be recognised in our communities and belong to our country. So for those ignorant & incompetent people that allow these documents be handed out like Xmas presents, YOU are enabling our younger generations to miss out on important opportunities. These documents support our people to access services that intend to address social, health and educational issues that our people often face and this proof is to ensure that the intention of the assistance is honoured.
AND.. More importantly, leading up to the NSW Aboriginal KO Carnival, players who hold falsified documents are taking away the opportunity for our children/young people/ women and men to represent THEIR communities with pride π₯Ή and passionπͺπΎ for that one time of the year in front of THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES and FAMILIES!
Frustration π€¬ is an understatement but my information should be a STATEMENT! πππ
Who will copy and paste to take a stand on the Identity Theft of our 60,000 year old culture and our belonging!
