I have decided to take a little more time off work with maternity leave

Post partum, 5 kids, one with lots of therapy and appointments, fifo partner…

It’s a lot.

Adding the pressure of trying to keep a schedule, reply to clients, fit in feeds for my baby.. and be reliable.. is not my strong point.

And nor should it be right now this soon after having a baby

Society puts so much pressure on us to return to work and while I can take this time right now I want too while I still have a short moment in baby land.

Unfortunately this means appointments will be pushed back another month or so
I know many of you have been holding out for me to return and I will, but just need some more time.

As I head into the final stretch of pregnancy, and following medical advice after a recent hospital visit, I’ve made the really hard decision to finish work earlier than planned.

Cancelling appointments was not easy, in fact I cried daily about this 😭 I care about you all so much, but I need to prioritise my health and baby right now.

First session tackling over a year of Majirouge 5.60, and holy sheeeet, that red does not wanna leave. When she told me she didn’t want red anymore, I nearly s**t myself 😅

Tried Malibu pigment remover, absolutely useless. (Or I’m not doing it correctly even though I followed instructions… Hairdressers, give me your best colour remover recs that don’t f**k with the natural 🙏🏼

So I went in with a s**tload of foils, melted the roots and lightly toned the ends. It’s not perfect… yeah, you can still see the red, but for round one and not frying her hair, I’m bloody stoked with it 👏🏼
