To most people, this is Dobby from Harry Potter. To my client, he represents freedom.
She spent part of her childhood trapped in circumstances no child should ever have to endure. Years later, she and her sisters found the courage to speak up, tell the truth and seek justice.
Dobby’s story resonated with her because he spent so long belonging to and serving someone else… Until finally, he was free ❤️
This tattoo represents taking her life back. No longer controlled by her past. No longer belonging to anyone else.

It was an absolute privilege to create something carrying this much meaning.
A little birthday treat to herself 🖤✨
A full-day session bringing together her two favourite flowers: Sunflowers & lilies 🌻 with delicate foliage and a butterfly 🦋
I love fine line and stipple work. It creates such a soft, feminine look💖
And this is only the beginning… next we’ll continue wrapping the design up her thigh to create a beautiful flowing leg sleeve ✨

Something he’s wanted for quite some time… but we always knew there was one small sacrifice that had to happen first, the beard had to go. 😂
And when you’ve had a beard for YEARS, apparently shaving it off is enough to shock your entire family. He genuinely looks like a completely different person!
We didn’t quite get the whole piece finished this session, but we got through a fair bit. And FYI for anyone wondering… under the chin is NOT an easy spot to tattoo, and that jawline proved to be a spicy little area too. 😅

This is exactly why I love involving the kids. It’s about showing them that tattoos aren’t something “bad.”
They can be art, self-expression, memories and stories that mean something to the people wearing them.
So many families love their ink, and I love creating a space where the next generation can see that it’s okay to be creative, express yourself and be unapologetically you. 🖤✨
