Hi, it’s me 👋🏼

The only ‘headshot’ I’ve ever had was taken by my not-a-photographer husband, so it was time for an upgrade!

I thought it was only fitting to share some fun facts about myself to go alongside the photos!

1. I studied makeup 15 years ago and only so I could drop out of school. I just got lucky that I loved it and was relatively ok at it. I did my first wedding in 2013 and I am very sorry to that bride for how clueless I was back then 🤣

2. Before I went full-time with my business in 2021 I was juggling makeup with a corporate career. I was an EA in real estate during the week while juggling weddings on the weekend. I rarely got a day off but the hustle was worth it for where I am now.

3. I was born 3/3/93 at 3:33 on the 3rd day of the week. If you’ve ever looked close enough when I’ve done your makeup you’ll see I am usually always wearing a 333 angel number necklace by

4. My husband and I got married the day before Australia went into lockdown in 2020. The lead up was so anxiety-inducing, but we had the best day ever. Only bummer was we never got to go on our dream 6 week Euro Summer honeymoon.. maybe one day in 20 years 😅

5. I have a two year old son, Rowan 🌈 He is our IVF miracle baby after infertility and loss. Being a Mama is the biggest joy and privilege of my life. I’m also a dog Mama to my first baby, Lenni 🐶

6. On my long drives to weddings I am either listening to a country music mix, Paramore or a business/motivational podcast. The drive home is a different story… I need silence and to decompress 🧘🏻‍♀️

7. In my very limited spare time I love cooking & baking, reading (mystery/psych thrillers or spicy romance), scrolling Pinterest and going on morning coffee/pastry walks with my little family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

8. My favourite movie of all time is Coyote Ugly and TV show is Vanderpump Rules! Trashy reality is my guilty pleasure 🍿

9. My Dad was raised by a single Mum who didn’t share anything about his bio Dad. I did an Ancestry DNA test a few years ago and learned I am 1/4 Greek Cypriot!

10. My favourite place in the world (so far) is Tokyo! Give me all the Dumplings, Tuna Sashimi, Ramen and Wagyu! 🍣

Moving forward I am filming all of the looks I create on my content days so I can create mini tutorials which will be available alongside my masterclasses (really hoping to launch next week before eofy!!!)

The mini tuts will show you step-by-step how I create each look and give you full product notes! They will be filmed on either my phone or camera (this one was my Canon) so unlike my masterclass they aren’t pro and will be in portrait mode, but hoping it gives all the artists that want to do a 1:1 but aren’t close by more opportunity to learn from me! 🫶🏼

REAL BRIDE, JAMIE // It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of my brides and not just fun content, so let’s get back to my bread and butter 🍞🧈 I absolutely loved creating this soft glam on Jamie for her Noosa wedding last weekend, and had such a lovely morning with her bride tribe who were just the sweetest.

When I was 16 I begged my parents to let me drop out of school and go to makeup college. I can’t tell you how ecstatic I was when they let me. Then to top it off my Dad paid for everything. The course fees, my first brush set, my first pro kit, trips to Sydney to go to IMATS, my first car that drove me all around Brisbane to my freelance jobs. I literally wouldn’t be here without him. I spent 3 years hustling as a little wannabe Makeup Artist begging to go back to college for my Diploma and he paid for that too.

He was one of my biggest cheerleaders, always resharing my work to his Facebook friends telling them “if anyone ever needs a makeup artist, my daughter is the best” as if any of his biker or car loving mates needed a soft bridal glam. But I appreciated it nonetheless and it made me feel warm and fuzzy knowing he was proud, and that all of the money he invested in me and my career wasn’t for nothing.

Now it has been two weeks since the sudden & shocking loss of my Dad and ever since I feel like I’ve been living outside of my own body watching myself just survive in slow-motion. I’ve managed a brave face for a couple of weddings (which were beautiful distractions) and I know that’s what Dad would’ve wanted for me. I have his work ethic after all… never wanting to let anyone down.

Tomorrow we say our final goodbyes, and I’m not ready. I don’t think I will ever be ready. But I know after tomorrow I need to start finding my feet and learning my new normal. I just really wanted to share a happy memory and story of how amazing my Dad is before I try and show-up on here again back to business mode. Everything I do moving forward is for him, and to keep making him proud 🤍
