As many of you know, I closed my beauty business in May last year after six years, stepping away for my wellbeing and due to the rising cost of living. It was a very difficult decision, and I’m so grateful for the support so many of you showed me during that time.

Since then, my health has continued to decline, and I’ve now been diagnosed with Stage IV deep infiltrating endometriosis (including bowel involvement) and adenomyosis. I’m scheduled for major surgery in Melbourne this August.

Asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me, but I’ve started a GoFundMe to help with the medical, travel, accommodation, and recovery costs.

I wanted to reach out to this community of followers to share my story. If you’re able to donate or simply share my fundraiser, I would be truly grateful. Thank you again for your kindness and support over the years—it has meant so much to me, and I hope to be able to return in some way one day. ❤️

💖A Heartfelt Goodbye from Tilly’s Beauty Room💖

It’s with a heavy heart that I am sharing some difficult news, after 6 wonderful years of Tilly’s Beauty Room, I’ve made the tough decision to close my business.

As many of you know, I have been balancing my beauty business with another job the last 6 months which has involved me working 6 days a week. The constant hustle has been very draining, and after much thought, I decided to close my business to focus on my wellbeing and spend more time with loved ones. This has not been an easy decision, but it's one I feel is best for my health and personal life at this time.

I would like to personally thank you for your continued support of my business over the years. It has been such a joy to serve you all and help you feel your best. I have truly appreciated every appointment, conversation, and opportunity to help you look and feel amazing.

I will be closing my doors as of the 26th of April, I will continue to offer appointments on Saturday’s until I close my doors. If would like to book one last appointment or if you have a gift voucher that you’d like to use before I close, please don’t hesitate to message me to arrange, I would love to see you!

As I close out another wonderful year in my beauty business, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all my wonderful clients who have supported my business this year. Your trust, loyalty, and kindness means the world to me, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you 🙏

This year has brought some changes - including stopping body waxing which was contributing to chronic back pain, and reducing my salon hours to only working Saturday's so I could get another job to work during the week due to cost of living - but your continued support has made it all possible. I'm so excited for what the new year will bring 🥰
