Who was Lala? 🤍

Elsa María Rojas Pineda, lovingly nicknamed “Lala” by her children and grandchildren, was sent to our family’s life around 31 years ago.

Lala raised and loved 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
Even though she did not carry us in her womb, she did so in her heart and every fiber in her body. A love so pure and strong it hurt at times.

In October of 2021, breast cancer took our beloved Lala from us.

Weeks prior to her departure, she told me that I would have a baby girl and that she would be beautiful.
I had not seen so much joy on her face in a long time, like that sunny afternoon when she told me that.

I learned 7 months later that I was pregnant.
In January I gave birth to a baby girl.
My girl…..her girl.

She knew her. She had known her all along.

This page is dedicated to her, her memory and her love for little ones.
