Somewhere between hiking, a photoshoot, and a helicopter ride, I tried water skiing for the first time! It looks so easy when someone else does it… until you try it yourself! Getting out of the water, balancing, and fighting the waves was much harder than I expected. But what an experience! Have you tried water skiing?

There are special people in your life where one coffee, one dinner, or even hours of catching up are simply never enough.
That’s the hardest part about short visits to Baku. You leave every meeting wishing you had time for just one more.

A little over three years as a U.S. resident, less than two years in the U.S. workforce, and I finally feel like I’m again in a place where I can fully use and leverage my skills, experience, knowledge, and personality.
Even better, I get to do it alongside a high-functioning, fun, small but mighty team, where we are given the freedom to create, lead, and make a real impact on the lives of students and families.
Excited for this new chapter as Assistant Director of Parent and Student Engagement at UC Davis. 💙💛
