Happy hump day everyone. Hope you guuys are taking care of yourselves this week
Two of my favourite things - coffee + my cute house plants. Really pleased with the progress of this little ivy that I purchased from 🪴
Started getting into house plants a few months ago and I can’t believe how much joy it brings me. Not to mention it is such a good way to practise mindfulness. It helps me to become more in tune with my surroundings
Hope you guys are taking time to appreciate small joys ☺️

‘is that a knot?’ – probably the most FAQ during a session
Knots are hard sensitive areas of muscles that are tight and sore even when you are at rest. When these tight muscle knots are touched, they can cause pain in other parts of the body. They are also known as trigger points.
Muscle knots can occur anywhere in the body, but they're usually found in your back, shoulders, and neck. They often show up in your gluteal muscles, too (your butt muscles). Knots can are usually caused by stress, repetitive strain injury, dehydration + poor sleeping and eating habits
How can massage help?
Massage can be used to treat muscle knots. Deep compressions and repetitive muscle stripping can help release muscle knots by increasing blood flow and circulation to the area which results in stiffness and pain relief.
Incorporating regular massage into your routine is really helpful in keeping these muscle knots at bay 🌿

Something we can all try to do at home this weekend
Squeezing to the muscles in the back of the neck with neck in a stretch.
Release for the right upper shoulder using by elbow whilst my dad looks down and then to the left to increase the stretch.
Hello friends!
I just wanted to show a few videos of how you can massage your loved ones during self isolation (no massage table required!)
Most of us carry our stress and tension in our upper shoulder - and with everything going on stress and worry is at an all time high.
Hope these little videos can help and you can help relieve some stress and tension for a loved one.
Check out my next two posts for the other two videos!
Continue to stay healthy + safe 🌿

I obviously can’t work from home at the moment with everything going on.
Trying to keep myself busy with keeping up to date and continuing education with everything going on in the massage world.
