A little girl was growing up, slowly, under her mother’s loving care.
Her mother dreamed that one day her little girl would grow up to be someone, build a beautiful life, and fulfill all the dreams they once had together.

But did that mother ever know… that the little girl would one day grow up to face so much pain, so many struggles, and so many accusations just for trying to live her life?

Back then, I was just a little girl holding on to my mother.
She saw me as her little doll, her dreams, her pride, her whole world.

Looking at this picture today, I wonder…
If my mother had known how difficult life would become for her little girl, would she have held me a little tighter that day?

Life changed me.
It taught me about pain, people, broken relationships, and words that can hurt more than wounds.

But no matter how much I’ve grown,
a part of me will always be that little girl who just wants to run back to her mother and forget every pain in her arms.

And Ammu Mushtary Hashem… your little doll may have been broken by life a few times,
but she is still trying to become the woman you once dreamed she would be. 🤍

Maybe one day, when he grows up, he’ll understand how much of the world I tried to be for him.

I have been his mother, his protector, his comfort, his safe place—and sometimes, I had to be the strength he needed from a father too.

I may not have all the answers, and I may not always know if I’m doing everything right. But I know one thing for sure: I will never let him feel unloved, unsafe, or alone.

If life asks me to play every role for him, I will.
If I have to carry twice the weight, I will.
If I have to be strong on the days when I’m falling apart inside, I will.

Because he is not just my child.
He is my reason to keep going, my little piece of heaven, and the biggest part of my heart. 🤍
