2016: My last day in Europe was spent solo in London where I sat in the fifth row of Les Miserables - Musical at the Queens Theatre, but not before I snagged lunch with one of my tour group friends, David. The play was incredible, the food was good, and the bed even better! The next day would see me flying home to The States and the end of my adventure.

2016: Holland and Brussels! We visited a classical Dutch community and saw our last city together, Brussels, where we ate dinner in a tiny cafe and bought lots of chocolate. Our last stop of the day was London at midnight and everyone parting ways. All good things must come to an end and our tour did just that, but not before we sang it out (See follow-up post.)

2016: Through the night we traveled from Berlin to Amsterdam. We had crepes for breakfast and walked the streets exploring all there was to see. A canal ride to learn about the architecture and history of this beautiful city and then my very first Uber ride back to the hotel. We stopped at the world famous Bulldog Cafe and even did a little shopping.

2016: Tropical Islands - the world's largest indoor water park located inside what once was an airship hangar bay. Yes. Airship. As in Zeppelin. Wow! This was such a fun, relaxing way to cap off the New Year and recover and was exactly what our group needed after so much serious tourism! My inner child came right out and played until I was ready to pass out!

2016: we spent the morning recovering from NYE by exploring Berlin in daylight. We interacted with the remnants of the Berlin Wall and even explored a museum dedicated to life "on the other side" of the wall. Afterward we took off for the world's largest indoor water park! (See follow-up post.)

2016 turns to 2017: Happy New Year from one of the world's largest NYE parties in Berlin, Germany! It was cold, but exciting! Live music, famous hosts, and a stellar view of the Brandenburg Gate! We even were brave enough to try our hand at taking the subway back to the hotel!

2016: Prague. My absolute favorite city we stopped at on our trip. I want to go back, can't wait to go back! It is such a beautiful city and the people were so welcoming and kind. Delicious food, stunning architecture, and an awesome conversion rate!
