Wild Blackberry and Red Chili Pepper.
In perfumery, some ingredients come
with a predefined role. Blackberry is
expected to be juicy, comforting,
almost innocent. But Purple Trouble
refuses to follow that script. The
addition of Red Chili Pepper doesn’t
mask the fruit; it reveals its untamed
character, bringing contrast, depth
and a subtle edge.

Twenty years ago, Romano Ricci had a
vision. Not simply to create a perfume
