Hooded eyes makeup tutorial

Hooded eyes? Placement changes everything!

Instead of applying shadow directly into the crease, place it slightly above so the color remains visible when your eyes are open.
For a more lifted look, blend the deeper shade close to the lash line and extend it slightly outward

One of my favorite tricks is adding a small piece of tape at the outer corner to create a soft guideline. Once removed, you instantly get that clean, lifted shape ✨

Finish with shimmer in the center of the lid for extra dimension and a more open-looking eye.

Contouring the jawline can completely change your face… but only if it’s placed correctly 👀

❌ too high = doesn’t define the jaw
❌ too thick = harsh, unnatural shadow
❌ not blended = muddy, heavy look

✔️ keep it right under the jawline for a lifted effect
✔️ use light, precise placement — less is more
✔️ blend DOWN from the bone
✔️ choose a cool-toned contour to mimic a natural shadow
