At the end of the Halloween season and after a good night sleep, it is my turn to finally write a closing message to the team.

It was a wonderful experience to get to meet and work with so many different makeup artists.

I did go to school so I am trained, but it's awesome to get to lean "THE JOB" with artist who have been doing it almost since I was born.

Thank you to Brigitte Petit. Thank you again for the opportunity. You're an amazing "cheuf", always kind and checking on all of us to see if we're doing good. You fought for the working conditions and you did get us a great setup. Great light, high chairs, great products to work with and most of all, a great team, great work atmosphere and lots of team spirit.
You have a wonderful way of giving a feed back, you're always encouraging. It was awesome to get to see you work, get your advices on colors, volumes etc ... Bus most of all, it was exceptional to get know you and to get to talk makeup and career with an artist like you.

Esther Wauters, Thank you for the opportunity as well :) Thank for beeing more successful with the gelatin then I was ! (I did try a lot at home, but nothing came out great or as elastic as yours). Thank for your never ending good mood and vibe. You seem to always be peaceful, cheery and available in case of a question or anything. You do amazing things with "nothing" like sponges etc... you are increadibly creative and I have a lot of admiration for how you manage to make everything work !

Catherine Malmendier, it was wonderful to get to see you work. The makeup you do have such a strong visual impact ! I haven't really been taught in school how to work so much which latex. I did learn a lot watching you work.

Nancy Roelens, Thank you for being there and help me a lot with the communications issues with the actors because of the language gap. Thank you for all your advice regarding makeup and life ! We didn't get to see each other that much but I liked every minute of it !

Cat Tilmant It was awesome to get to meet you. You work in the film industry which is what I'd like to do. I loved to get your opinions and to get to talk about the various experiences you had on the many sets you've been. It was very enlightening. I loved to see your finished makeup, I learned a lot regarding vein work, colors, ... Thank you so much !

Yasmine and Marguerite, whom I don't have as friends on facebook. Thank you for being so understanding with me... I kept getting your name mixed up :/ Thank you for the great job you did with the hands and the teeth of the actors. It made us gain so much time and you both did an amazing job.

Cyndie Gdn I always wanted to work with you on a job. As I thought, we're a team that really works well together. Thank you for your efficiency and patience. Thank you for sharing this experience with me. And thank you for all the rest as well, it was great to be on this job with someone who had the same training as I have !

In short, it was a great, enlightening experience. I learned a lot, met incredible people. I got to progress a lot with my dutch, I am a bit less rusty. And it was awesome to have the freedom to try so many things regarding sfx makeup.

I won't be able to join the team next year but if I were, I would be really keen to do so.
