What a day. Emotional, inspiring and one I’ll never forget.

I stepped on stage for my very first talk and honestly felt blown away by the support in the room. Thank you to everyone who came along 💙

Invited to meet with leading dentists and practices to tackle one simple mission… how we get more people flossing.

Along the way, I met some incredible people and experienced something very special watching Levski Sofia win their first league title in 17 years.

Then, by pure coincidence back in London, I found myself sitting down with a top Serbian dentist and his brilliant sons.🇷🇸

What a day. London → Leeds → London.

Congratulations to the winners of the Tahir 3-Dart Challenge. One was called Taahir, the other has Crohn’s disease like me… genuinely felt like a 1 in a million moment. Yes, I’ve put the lottery numbers on for this weekend 🤣

Then straight back to London for a great evening with at , catching up with inspiring people and my mentor Peter Roberts, founder of PureGym.

Days like this remind me why we’re building Tahir 💙

I’ll be honest, I’m very nervous. Standing in front of hundreds of dental professionals for 45 minutes feels like a big moment. But it also feels like the right one. There will be people in the audience who have been practising dentistry longer than I’ve been alive.

If you’re a dentistry professional coming to the BDA Dentistry Show at the NEC, I would genuinely love for you to come and watch my first ever public talk.

I’ll be sharing the Tahir story and why this all started. As the founder of a flossing device which has one of the highest percentages of non-flossers starting their flossing journey, I’ll share our early insights. We’ll also walk through findings from our 1000 patient Electric Flosser Randomised Controlled Trial with Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, with huge thanks to Dr Ali Golkari and Amir Al Samak for their support.

We’ll also be presenting our donation to . Each month we give 10% of our profits to a charity, and if you are a charity please get in touch for more details. This is a small step towards supporting the incredible work led by Andy Evans and the team, and where that funding will go.

Most importantly, we’re going to take an honest look at the problem. Why 71% of patients still don’t floss daily, and how we actually fix that from the perspective of someone outside the dental professional bubble.

No perfect answers. Just a founder trying to make sense of it and hopefully move things forward.
