One of the fascinating features of Paul’s letters is the trail of names he leaves behind. These names are windows into a network of people working together for the kingdom. Some are acquaintances, some are leaders of congregations, some open their homes for worship, and others labor alongside Paul in the work of the Gospel.
Let look four of them: Artemas, Tychicus, Zenas, and Apollos (Titus 3:12–13). What do we know about them?
Artemas was one of Paul’s companions. We know very little about him, but Paul planned to send either Artemas or Tychicus to Crete to relieve Titus so he could meet Paul in Nicopolis for the winter (Titus 3:12). Artemas likely would have stepped in as a temporary leader for the churches on the island while Titus was away.
Tychicus is better known. A believer from Asia Minor (Acts 20:4), he traveled with Paul and is mentioned often in his letters (Eph 6:21–22; Col 4:7–8; 2 Tim 4:12). Paul calls him a “beloved brother,” “faithful minister,” and “fellow servant” (Col 4:7). He often served as a trusted messenger, delivering letters and encouraging congregations (Eph 6:21–22). In Titus, Paul considers sending him to Crete, and later he is sent to Ephesus, likely to assist Timothy (2 Tim 4:12).
Zenas was a “lawyer” (Titus 3:13), meaning he was trained in some form of Jewish, Greek, or Roman law. He was likely a respected and educated Christian. Paul instructs Titus to assist Zenas on his journey and provide whatever he needs, suggesting that Zenas was traveling on a mission, possibly to help deliver the letter alongside Apollos.
Apollos is also well known from the NT. He was an eloquent and learned teacher from Alexandria, Egypt, powerful in the Scriptures (Acts 18:24). He had a significant ministry in Corinth, where he strengthened believers and defended the faith (Acts 18:27–28; 1 Cor 3:5–6). In Titus, he appears as a traveling minister whom the church is to support (Titus 3:13).
Together, these names remind us that Paul did not work alone. Far from it. He was surrounded by a “ministry team,” each faithfully fulfilling their vocation in spreading the Gospel, as believers do to this day.
Thanks be to Christ for Artemas, Tychicus, Zenas, and Apollos, faithful servants of the Gospel!

A new study has shown that grandparenting has health benefits for memory and verbal skills.
But beyond the health benefits for the grandparents and the help their involvement offers mom and dad, godly grandparents have a wonderful opportunity to leave a spiritual legacy as they help disciple that next generation.
We see this in the life of the young pastor Timothy, whose faith was passed down to him from his grandmother Lois and mother, Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5). And Psalms tells us that one generation declares the works of God to the next (Psalm 145:4).
It’s always interesting when you see yet another study confirming what those with a biblical worldview knew all along,God’s design is good and leads to the flourishing of society.

When they tell you it's "Biblical Cosmology" but they get their info from Enoch.
6 Reasons to ignore Enoch:
1. The Origin of Sin: The KJV states sin entered the world through Adam's disobedience (Romans 5:12). 1 Enoch 10:8 places the primary blame on a fallen angel, saying to "ascribe all sin" to Az**el.
2. The "Son of Man": The New Testament applies this Messianic title exclusively to Jesus Christ (John 3:13). However, in 1 Enoch 71:14, Enoch ascends to heaven and is directly told, "Thou art the Son of Man."
3. Height of the Giants: Genesis 6:4 mentions giants but gives no pre-Flood dimensions. 1 Enoch 7:2 claims the offspring of the fallen angels grew to 3,000 cubits tall, which is roughly 4,500 feet (nearly a mile high).
4. Chained Angels vs. Roaming Satan: The KJV warns that the devil actively roams the earth today like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). 1 Enoch 10:4 claims the rebel angel leaders were permanently bound and buried under sharp rocks before the Flood.
5. The Purpose of the Flood: In Genesis 6:5, God sends the Flood as a moral judgment against human wickedness. 1 Enoch 10:7 claims the primary goal was to reverse the cosmic damage done by the Watchers and destroy their hybrid offspring.
6. Human Intercession: The KJV establishes Jesus Christ as the only mediator between God and creation (1 Timothy 2:5). In 1 Enoch 13:4, the fallen angels ask Enoch to act as their priest, and he writes a prayer of petition to God on their behalf.

The roman catholic church defined in the council of Trient in 1563 that the Gospel of Mark ends with verse 16:20, just like in the Textus Receptus.
Isn't it odd that their most prominent greek MS, the Codex Vaticanus omits the last 12 verses of the Gospel of Mark?
Did the Vatican library harbor a heretical manuscript for centuries, by their own standards?
(Picture is the last page of Mark's Gospel in the Codex Vaticanus with the last 12 verses added in the blank space.)
