This guest came in wanting a new colour, but without the commitment of a permanent change…
With grown-out balayage already in place, .emery used a semi-permanent, tone-on-tone colour to enhance what was there rather than reinvent it ✨
The existing highlights allowed the red to appear brighter through lighter areas 🍒, while deeper sections picked up softer red undertones, creating dimension without locking her into a long-term result.

A small detail that makes a big difference: proper saturation before shampooing 👑 This is one of the absolute standards we teach our clients when it comes to more effective cleaning.
When the hair is fully saturated, product distributes evenly, lathers properly, and rinses clean — leaving no heaviness behind and no corners cut.
The approach 👇🏾
🫧 Drench: allow the hair to fully saturate for 60 seconds before cleansing. Use your fingers to get water properly distributed through the hair
🫧 Cleanse: shampoo with intention, not haste
🫧 Condition: focus care through the mid-lengths and ends for balance and softness
