Chicken With Broccoli in Creamy Cheese Sauce
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
1 head of broccoli
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup of chicken broth
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cut the chicken into small pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
Then, in the same skillet, add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
Add the broccoli and cook for a few minutes, until tender but still crisp.
Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Add the chicken back to the skillet and mix everything together.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the top is lightly browned and bubbly.
Serve hot and enjoy!
