A few years ago I did a webclass called Put The Brush Down, for Nail Techs who were struggling to make sense of the business of being a nail tech.

Nail Techs were all in, they showed up, and shared more than I thought they would. Basically, what most nail techs struggle with:

Late clients.
No-shows.
Long days.
Prices that weren't adding up.
Feeling like everyone else was making money except you.

I listened and shared what I thought would help- which was exactly what I did to grow my business.

But here's what I've had to be honest with myself about — what was shared was information. Information without a framework, more information, more noise.

I had no way of knowing if anything I shared actually moved the needle for those in attendance
No structure to follow.
No way to measure if things changed.
Just another webclass you walked away from wondering what to do next.
That stayed with me.

So I stopped doing more of the same and started building something different.
Something tangible and self-paced. A reference guide, when things get hard.

Raising your prices won't fix your business.

I know.

Everyone's telling you to charge your worth.

And yes — you should.

But if you raise your prices without a system,
without a retention strategy,
without understanding your numbers —
you'll lose clients, panic, and drop your prices right back down.

I've watched it happen too many times.

The price isn't the problem. The foundation is.

The hardest thing about being a nail tech isn't the nails.

It's figuring out the business when nobody taught you how.

Pricing.
Client retention.
Where the money actually goes.

The stuff they don't cover in beauty school.
