Custom made Shell Art It was natural that my love of seashells led me to decorate my home in a manner that evoked the ambience of the sea and its wonders.
From early childhood I have loved to explore the shoreline here in The Bahamas, picking up shells or pieces of driftwood that appealed to my sense of beauty. In my spare time, it became my hobby to design unique pieces of shell art made of attractive shells framed in rustic, driftwood and modern woods. Some of these I would hang on the walls of my villa and others I would give to close friends and family members as gifts. I was delighted to find that my shell art was much admired and soon I was receiving requests from other friends, acquaintances and complete strangers who wished to purchase the products of my “hobby”! Thus was ‘born’ Koastal Krafts! Koastal Krafts shell art pieces are custom-made and examples may be viewed in the Albums section of this page or by appointment at my home on Paradise Island. Customers are welcome to select their frames, shells, backgrounds and mat colours from the varieties available. Prices range from $50.00 - $130.00.
