Born in the Nation’s Capital, Grand Turk, Farrah Grant is the proud daughter of former Miss Turks and Caicos 1995, Sharlene Grant, and the granddaughter of the esteemed Ianthe Grant Higgs. Her family lineage is deeply rooted in the history and legacy of this beautiful archipelago. Farrah is also the great-granddaughter of the late Honorable Paul Higgs Sr., a prominent figure from Bottle Creek, North Caicos, who played a vital role in the development of our islands.
As a passionate advocate for education and community development in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Farrah has successfully completed her BSc in Biology and is committed to fostering learning opportunities for all regardless of their circumstances, through numerous efforts she continues to make a meaningful impact within her profession and the community.

Although Farrah left the Turks and Caicos Islands at an early age, her connection to her heritage has remained unshakable. From a young age, she was immersed in the rich culture of the TCI—its history, its music, and its amazing people. Farrah is a true daughter of the soil, with a love and passion for the Turks and Caicos Islands that runs as deep as the turquoise waters that surround us.

Her commitment to preserving and promoting the culture of TCI is matched only by her dedication to her community, her family, and her personal growth. Farrah Grant’s heart beats with the pride of her ancestors, and she stands before you today, not only as a representative of her family but as a proud ambassador for the islands she calls home.

In her capacity as Charity Champion at The Source, Farrah has played an instrumental role in supporting local initiatives. Since joining the organization in October 2022, she has facilitated monthly donations of $1,000 to Ashley's Learning Center, alongside organizing events and volunteering for initiatives focused on reading and life skills. Her dedication to educational equity has led to partnerships with the Edward Garland Youth Center to host a Careers Day, highlighting culinary skills for local children, and collaboration with the TCHTA Culinary team for the Lit’l Chef’s Camp, which provides students with hands-on experience in luxury villa settings.

Farrah’s commitment to youth development is further exemplified through her significant $10,000 contribution to Leishawn Lewis, a local student who received a scholarship to attend a football academy in the UK. Additionally, she has successfully lobbied for financial assistance for two employees at The Source, ensuring their children can continue their education without financial burden.
As a former Miss Caribbean UK, Farrah passionately celebrates the richness of Caribbean culture and the beauty of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Through initiatives such as organizing a sponsored 10K walk that raised funds for local schools and utilizing her social media platform to promote educational content and community engagement, she continues to inspire others.
