July 10th, 1973, The Bahamas gained its independence as a country and a nation. Happy 50th Independence to our beautiful Bahama Land! From the sunkissed land to the sandy shores, our unique culture driven by our people is the foundation of the land.
We celebrate you, Bahamas by waving our flags proudly and remembering what it represents. Black represents the vigor and force of a united people, and the triangle pointing toward the body of the flag represents the enterprise and determination of The Bahamian people to develop and possess the rich resources of the sun☀️ and sea🌊 symbolizing by gold and aquamarine respectively.
