Hair care tips for longer stronger hair !

1. Have a proper Moisturizing routine. Moisturize your hair at least two times a week. Use water in a spray bottle followed by a  leave in conditioner, then add oil /grease to seal the moisture in.

2. Be gentle with your hair when detangling. Use a moisturer before combing through each section.  Never pop through tangles or rush through the detangleing process. Gently comb from ends to roots. Remember, your hair is fragile and you must handle with care.

2. Treat your hair. Use a Moisturizing treatment bi weekly, or a protein treatment monthly. Use a heated cap for these treatments, if you have one.

3. Sleep with a Satin or silk hair scarf at night. Never sleep with your hair uncovered as this can cause friction to the hair strands and result in breakage.
4. Minimize the amount of heat you use on your hair. If you desire to use heat, be mindful of the temperature used.

5. Trim your ends " as needed ". Holding on to damaged and split ends only hinders your growth journey, because split ends travel up the hair shaft causing you to trim more in the long run.

6. Wear protective styles often so that you are not constantly handling your hair. Ensure that the styles you wear are comfortable and not tight to the scalp. Tight hairstyles can result in  loss of edges and damage to the cuticles.

7. Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced meal daily 😉. We are what we eat ! Let's grow our hair from the inside out !
