Moisturising your dreadlocks isn't as complex as people make it to be.

You don't need to rob the bank.

Get yourself a bottle of Moisture Splash Conditioning Spray by Stylin' Dredz or Dreadlocks Moisturizing Spray by Sta-Sof-Fro.

The second one is more oil based, so a little spray goes a long way. Better still dilute it with Rose Water (clear bottle). With 2 bottles of rose water : 1 bottle of dreadlocks moisturizing spray.

Moisture Splash Conditioning Spray is a more preferable option as it doesn't require diluting. The spray is water based and therefore helps to keep dreadlocks light, moisturised, and oil free.

Remember, it's about adding moisture to your dreadlocks and not preparing your hair for an oil drip competition.

Dreadlock extensions loosen after sometime.

With regular washing and maintenance, dreadlock extensions harden and fuse with your natural hair, giving a seamless look.

Dreadlock extensions may loosen if they're over processed by excessive dyeing and or bleaching, or installed incorrectly.

How do I WASH and DRY THEM?

Dreadlocks are no different from loose hair. They need to be maintained and well taken care of.

Wash your hair regularly, either once a week, every two weeks or once a month.

Dry your hair with a t-shirt, allow it to air dry or blow dry if needed.

Always wash your hair early in the day to avoid sleeping with wet hair.

Avoid covering freshly washed hair.

For moisturising, do it when the hair is still damp or better still wait till your hair is dry. Perhaps the next day, to avoid oil drippings onto your neck and clothes.

Avoid moisturising your hair at night.

What COLOURS are available?

All our dreadlock extensions come in natural black only.

Any desired colour can be achieved by dyeing and or bleaching the dreadlock extensions.

It's best to colour your dreadlock extensions before installation.

Equally dye your hair ready to match the colour of your dreadlock extensions.

Should I MOISTURISE my dreadlocks DAILY?

Moisturising your dreadlocks is necessary, but not everyday.

It can cause buildup and make locs feel heavy.

It's best to moisturise after every wash.

Will the EXTENSIONS DAMAGE my natural hair?

NO❎

Dreadlock extensions don't damage your natural hair.

Rather, they grow with your natural hair.

Hair is only damaged if loc to part ratio is incorrect, excessive styling, dyeing and or bleaching.

Otherwise, if dreadlock extensions are correctly installed and taken care of, then they will last long.
