Ocean Essence Day Spa - Ambergris Caye, Belize

Some news from the end of the pier 🌊

As of October 1, Ocean Essence Day Spa has a new owner, and it's a face many of you already know. Brendalie Smith has been part of our team for years, first as a therapist, then as manager. Now the spa is hers.

Brendalie is Belizean and has 25 years of massage behind her. In her words: "It is not just a job, it is a passion."

We also want to be straight with you. Over the past few years, some of you had trouble reaching us or had an appointment get mixed up. We're sorry. We've streamlined how booking works, so your time on the pier is the time you planned. Already booked? Your appointment stands, and so do your gift certificates.

Everything else stays the same: same therapists, same menu, same prices, now open daily 9 AM to 5 PM. Plus one new addition: our Moonlight Couples Massage. It's an hour of massage over the water after dark, then 30 minutes on the deck with w**e, grapes and local Belizean chocolate 🌙

And a big, heartfelt thank-you to Sarah Bladon, who led Ocean Essence for years. Sarah is now focused on Felicity Sailing, the luxury catamaran tours she runs with Horace. Go say hi if you're out on the water! 💙
