This one snuck up. The shop has it’s birthday today! Thank you to all my clients. You make it fun, meaningful, and I’m glad after all these years this is what I still want to be doing🧡

Can you tell? We’re just a tad bit excited in here. Starting today Masks will be optional in the barbershop.

Please do not come into the shop if you feel unwell and have sick like symptoms. The shop likes to keep a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

This has been a tough couple years for a lot of us and I look forward to seeing your smiling faces😁

This year as well as last year have been difficult to navigate with many unexpected surprises not only for me, but for other small businesses in the community.

Thank you to those businesses for keeping your head up in these difficult times and continuing to operate. It’s not easy and you are rockstars👏

MASK UPDATE 😷

I work in close proximity to my clients, and with the foot traffic coming in/out of the shop in a day, the Barbershop is kindly asking clients to wear a mask during their appointment until further notice. This isn’t the most ideal situation, but after giving this a lot of thought it is my responsibility to keep my clients safe and healthy.

The Barbershop wants to remain open and not have to shut down again.

Because my clients deserve the best.

I’ve been saying this for years hands down has the BEST design, quality and durability when it comes to their products.

I’ve used all different brands/makes of clippers and nothing, I mean nothing cuts like a Wahl clipper.

I was hesitant when trying out the cordless line as other clippers (not Wahl) haven’t been able to keep up and honestly cut like 💩

The Magic Clip + Senior are pretty unreal🤩

❌ No Shows ❌

Last month the barbershop had at least 10 appointments that clients didn’t show up for.

I’m writing this for myself and my fellow friends in the industry.

When you don’t show for your appointment I miss out on income for that appointment. I can’t fill that spot and it also takes away from someone that has been waiting for that appointment. I’m usually booked a week and half in advance.

If you miss more than one appointment without a good excuse you will be charged for the full haircut at your next appointment. I know a lot of you have been great about this and even offer to pay without me bringing it up. Others have been quite rude about it.

A reminder that when this happens the shop takes a financial hit and it’s disrespectful.

Well 2020, you were a year.

There were challenges for us small businesses and a lot happened.

wanted to point out some positives to end the year.

When the lockdown happened it gave the barbershop the opportunity to launch its own Beard Oil line. This was a very proud moment for the business as this was being researched long before the pandemic hit.

Fast forward a bit and the shop added Beard Wash to Rosies Barbershop Beard Line.

I think it’s honestly amazing when local businesses come together and support eachother🖤

The barbershop was able to reopen after being shut down for months. The overwhelming response for the new product line has been a blessing.

The barbershop also designed its own logo for a little shop makeover. I didn’t really announce this, to be honest I forgot as life was super busy there for a bit. Thank you to those who noticed.

Now the most important part:
The Clients💕

You are what makes this work. I’ve said this since day one. You make my work fun. I love coming to work to cut your hair and for the amazing conversations we have. Some are deep, some of them I’ve shed a tear and some I’ve laughed so hard that I’m still laughing as the day goes on. I just want to express that I am forever grateful for you.

This family has been coming to for years🖤

His hair was super long.
I forgot to take a before picture.
I think I was a lil eager to start chopping away💇🏻

We decided to keep it longer on the top while adding some texture and cleaning it up around the ears.

We made this a more “lived in” haircut so he doesn’t have to fuss with it.
