Preparing the Body for a Spray Tan


Tanning Advisor, “Glow Girl” natural spray tan suggest thoroughly exfoliating the body before receiving a spray tan. This will remove dead skin cells and dry patches for more even application of the tanning spray. Preparing for the Spray Tan
Do not put on makeup or deodorant before spray tanning. Deoderant when mixed with the tan may even turn armpits green. Shaving body hair should be done at least 8 to 24 hours in advance. Glow Girl Spray Tan warns not to wax within 24 hours of the spray tan and to wait until the spray tan has completely faded to wax again. No moisturizer, perfumes or makeup should be on the skin prior to spray tanning. What to Wear Pre-Tan
Spray tanning in the n**e results in more even coverage. There will be no visible tan lines. However, tanning with a bathing suit or undergarments is acceptable, as long as they are dark to avoid staining ( although this natural product usually completely washes out). Make sure you wear something dark and loose fitting for up to 8 hrs after your tan as to avoid rubbing on the skin which may cause streaking. MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NOTHING USED ON YOUR SKIN CONTAINING OIL, OR YOUR TAN WILL NOT SPRAY ON EVENLY!
