One of my favourite tips for curly girls is to buy a spray bottle for their hair. Just plain water. It makes a Day 2 Scrunch-N-Go a piece of cake. Reawaken product without having to go through the entire Shower Routine again.

This mannequin head had me dyinggg 😆
This is a long-time favourite client of mine, and we do a full head of tapes, since she's an active Mama and likes the versatility.
Being that baddie on a budget she chooses to take her extensions out at home, and before my fellow stylists jump on me for improper haircare, it takes her TWO HOURS. She sits infront of the tv with her kids, soaks it in remover, and slowly takes them out, cleans, re-tabs + brings them to me for re-install. Normally in labelled ziploc bags, left/right side etcetc. This time she brought them on a mannequin head 🤣
As long as your hair and scalp are in good condition, and your taking care, I choose not to judge my clients if they want to do things to economize on costs. I'd rather educate and work with them.
We all are feeling the pinch from high costs of living, and we all want to feel beautiful. We deserve to. Doesn't the end result look beautiful and natural?

3.5hr spiral wrap on natural thick, straight, hair. Little damage as possible, shiny and soft, what a labour of love. Had so much fun chatting away with her, she's a bright ray of sunshine and customizing this kept me on my toes. Which, honestly, I prefer for work. It keeps me engaged and constantly innovating.

This client came in with grown out roots natural level 5 and faded reddish-brown mids to ends. She wanted a complete overhaul and a different vibe than something one solid colour.

So utilizing some of those warm brown pieces, adding some hilites and pulling some lowlites down we created a verry dimensional look.
I can't help thinking this would be a great colour for but I don't even care if we're out of season I'm SO in-love with this colour!! 😭

I would like to add this is a *great* example of how you can have hilites, or dimension and still be a brunette overall. The world is your oyster 💅🏼

And sometimes you need a refresh!
This particular client actually started out as that mid-sandy blonde that nobody seems to like on themselves lol. She boxed-dyed it dark brown but had instant regrets so we made a game plan to get her back into blonde territory. 3 stylists 2 appointments and a combined 8 hours later she was refreshed and back to a blonde.

I have NO JUDGEMENT for those who box-dye. None at all, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I only want clients to be aware that if you want to move away from box dye, it's a process, and potentially an expensive one if you can't wait the few years to get your natural hair back. Its more work for the stylist, to finesse the result you want while avoiding damaging your hair as much as reasonably possible, and therefore more costly for you; the client.

The "Before" picture you see is her grow out 4ish months later and it was time to refresh as her toner naturally faded and she was feeling a little flat. Some hi/lo lites later and, viola! a beautiful dimensional blonde. 🥰

I'm 100% here for your hair journey and it gives me so much personal satisfaction.
