I get asked this question at almost every market…

“Which soap is your favourite?”

My answer is always the same…

“That’s like asking me to pick a favourite kid.” 😄

The truth is, it changes.

🌿 Honey Oat Lavender – My gentlest bar. Honey, colloidal oats and coconut milk make it feel so rich and comforting, and the lavender, sweet orange and frankincense blend never gets old.

☕ London Fog – If you’ve ever had a London Fog latte, you’ll understand. Earl Grey tea and bergamot make this one feel warm, cozy and just a little indulgent.

🤎 Coffee Scrub – Fresh coffee grounds, activated charcoal and cocoa. I always reach for this one after a day spent working with my hands or when I need a little exfoliation.

🍋 Lemon Sorbet – Lemon, rosemary and kaolin clay. Bright, fresh and the one that always makes my morning shower feel a little happier.

🌹 Charcoal Rose – Activated charcoal and rose clay with a soft floral scent. It’s one of the first bars people pick up at my market table… and almost always the one they stop to smell.

Which one would you choose first? 🌿

One of my favourite things about attending local events is the connections that come from them.

After the Beaumaris Yacht Club Ladies Night, I was invited to have Willow Valley Wellness products stocked at Willmotts. 🌿

I’m so grateful for opportunities like this and for businesses that choose to support local makers. If you’re visiting Willmotts General Store , you’ll now find a selection of Willow Valley Wellness products there!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by at Ladies Night, and to the team at Willmotts for this opportunity. 🤍

A few days late posting, but still feeling so grateful for this beautiful Muskoka evening.
We had the opportunity to be part of the Ladies Night at Beaumaris Yacht Club - a gorgeous event filled with lake views, curated vendors, cottage style and, and so many lovely conversations.
What made it even more special was getting to combine the event with a few days spent with friends at their beautiful Muskoka island property - soaking in the sunshine, nature walks, enjoying the lake, and being reminded why summer in Canada feels so special.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes this season, but we’re also making space for the moments that inspire so much of what we do: time outside, simple rituals, good people, and beautiful places.
And this Muskoka trip brought one more exciting update too… more on that soon.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, chat with us, smell the blends, and bring a little Willow Valley Wellness home with them.

We’ve been hearing great things about this place, and finally tried it last night. Pebbles Family Buffet did not disappoint.
It received many “this is the best ______ I’ve ever had” from our table. Highly recommend.
Great quality food and a beautiful vibe.

Our Bug Off spray has been flying off the shelves - pun intended 😉

It’s been a favourite at the Elora market, customers coming back to tell us that it actually works - they couldn’t believe it.

As with all good things, friends tell friends and then all of a sudden we’re pouring dozens of bottles at a time.

It’s perfect paired with our Nature’s Shield roll-on.

We waited all winter to get into the beautiful warm outdoors ☀️ 🍃 and having a little extra help when outside in nature - especially when it’s natural - is always welcome.

Charcoal Rose

One of those bars we never get tired of making.
Simple, beautiful, and made to be used every day.

A few days at Killbear was exactly what we needed.

Lots of swimming, kids cliff jumping, one pretty wild thunderstorm, campfires, and plenty of time outside.

Trips like this always remind me why I started making what I make.

Our Bug Off spray and Nature’s Shield Roll-On were originally made for our family, long before they were ever made for anyone else. They’re still two of the first things we pack whenever we’re heading outdoors, and we reached for them every day on this trip.

It’s still a little surreal that something I made for us has become something so many other people now choose to pack for their own adventures too.

This summer’s already felt really full—in the best way. Time outside, days making products, and weekends at markets talking with so many wonderful people. I wouldn’t change it. 🌿

PS. We will be Elora Farmers' Market tomorrow with these 2 outdoor essentials - and all of our products.
The location is gorgeous and the variety and quality of vendors’ items is impressive.

Soap was the very first product I made for Willow Valley, and I still love making it just as much.

These bars were cut today while I was busy making another batch of different varieties. I couldn’t do days like this without a teammate who’s always willing to jump in right where he’s needed.
Now these bars all get to spend the next 4–6 weeks curing before they’re ready.

I’m really grateful that this is what I get to do. To spend my days making something I love and sharing it with so many familiar faces and people discovering Willow Valley for the first time.

Thank you for being here. It truly means so much. 🌿

I love market days.

Good conversations, kind people, and a chance to spend the day talking about something I genuinely love making.

Maybe one day I’ll remember to post actually at the market… but I’m usually too busy enjoying it.

I’ll be back in Elora next week, and I have to say, it’s one of the most quaint and beautiful places I’ve been for a market. 🌿
