As stylists we see this often. Trimming the fine pieces at the very bottom keep split ends from creeping up the hair shaft, that then cause split ends and fuzzy hair. Now that being said micro trims are great as long as they are done often to keep the hairs integrity.
This may need to be a bit more consistent dependent on your heat tool usage! Also the natural dryness of the hair. As well as if you are blonde ❤️
