A New Chapter: From Coconut Village Spa to Ward 2 Council! To my wonderful spa family, For six incredible years, you trusted me with your care, your families, and your stories. Whether I was doing your facials, giving you a pedicure, massaging your hands, or hosting your special events, every moment spent together was an absolute honour. While Coconut Village Spa (located right here in Ward 2 near Yonge and Wellington) has closed its doors following the assault, this community remains my absolute heart. I cherished every single role I got to play in your lives: from hosting parties filled with laughter and supporting local charities, to providing gentle, loving care for the seniors who visited my spa. The only thing I didn't do in Ward 2 over those six years was sleep!

Beyond my own walls, I have always believed in building up our neighbourhood, supporting families, and championing local small businesses. The Ward 2 community has truly been my home, and its people are my family. Now, our family has officially made Ward 2 our permanent home with the purchase of my beautiful retirement bungalow. It is a little funny to think about "retirement" while so young, but it is true, I have found the perfect spot to plant deep permanent roots, and I am ready to serve this town in a whole new way!

Bringing Grassroots Care to Town HallI am officially running to be your Ward 2 Councillor! I am taking the exact same dedication, deep listening skills, and heartfelt care that I poured into our spa sessions, and into my 13 years in the daycare business, and bringing them directly to Town Hall. I will fiercely advocate for our neighbourhood, respect our taxpayers, and support our local economy.
I’ll be out knocking on doors very soon. If you see me in the neighbourhood, please open your door so we can catch up!

Friendship. Sisterhood. These are not side hustles.
I love this sis Kimberley for the true sisterhood we share! Absolutely no faking!

They are not the things we squeeze in after the work is done, after the goals are chased, after the world has taken its share of us. They are not optional, expendable, or “nice to have when there’s time.”

They *are* the work.

They are the late-night calls that hold us together when everything else is falling apart. The laughter that reminds us who we are beneath the pressure. The honesty that sharpens us. The presence that steadies us.

And they are not transactional.

We are not here to hang around each other to get what we want. This isn’t a space for takers or fakers, for smiles in front and silence or shade behind closed doors. There is no room for hypocrisy here. No hidden agendas. No quiet competition.

Real friendship, real sisterhood, is rooted in truth.

It is safe. It is honest. It is transparent. What is said in the room matches what is carried outside of it. We protect each other’s names, not perform for appearances.

We build careers, families, and futures, but it is friendship and sisterhood that sustain us through all of it. They are not distractions from our purpose; they are part of it.

So we don’t “fit each other in.”
We show up.
We invest.
We protect.
We choose each other on purpose, over and over again.

Because real connection isn’t a side hustle.

It’s the foundation.

Years ago, I created something from a deeply meaningful place, and recently, I was reminded why it mattered so much. It’s time to bring it back, with a renewed purpose.
I’m calling it “She Elevates.”
It’s about women coming together in trust, accountability, and true sisterhood. Too often, we find ourselves comparing, competing, or even tearing each other down when what we truly need is to lift each other up.
““She Elevates” is a space where Black sisters and sisters from biracial backgrounds come together to choose connection over comparison, support over judgment, and honesty over the pressure to pretend everything is okay. It’s rooted in trust, accountability, and real support—choosing each other over division and silence.
This May, I’d love to gather a small group of us to share time together: to eat, laugh, maybe cry, and create a safe, authentic space. A space where we can show up as we are and be supported in that truth.

This workshop is close to my heart because it focuses on helping business owners and entrepreneurs rediscover their joy, reconnect with their purpose, and find their “why” again.
