In collaboration with the Victoria County Recreation Department, we are pleased to offer Community Champion opportunities!!! Our opportunities facilitate older adult recreation all through Victoria County and the positions are flexible, on call, as needed opportunities (i.e. calling Bingo or playing movies) and provide an honorarium. Thank you to Aging Well Nova Scotia for the opportunity to learn practical and impactful skills to support each other. This training will be attended by staff, participants, and volunteers and we are opening up space to community as well! Year 3 for the "Back At it BBQ" in Dingwall, Iona, Ingonish, and Baddeck! Everyone contributes and has a delicious time... gathering and eating together is a great way to kick off the Fall season.
