💭🤔 Has anyone else experienced a bad reaction to synthetic fragrance?

I find it really interesting how a lot of laundry brands promote products (mainly scent boosters) that will keep your clothes smelling like that product for several days when the “scent” that your clothes are holding on to is just a concoction of harsh, toxic chemicals

How can they be promoting this as a good thing when that means you’re breathing it in longer and it’s getting absorbed into your skin?

It amazes me how we can so easily fall for this type of marketing (and hey, I was totally that person in the past!).

But now that we know better and know what the immediate and long term affects of these ingredients are - skin irritation, eczema, headaches, endocrine disruption, asthma etc., we can make the conscious choice to choose our health over temporary pleasure
