Summer Schedule Update ☀️
I’ve added more availability to my schedule this summer!
You can book online through the links in my bio, or text 807.707.3134 with your availability and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
A quick note about online booking: sometimes the system may not show an appointment because it runs slightly outside of my posted shift. If you don’t see a time that works, text me anyway. I usually know whether I can stay a little later or adjust the timing.
A few people have also asked if I’m taking time off this summer or going on mat leave — nope! No big travel plans, and mat leave is long behind me. 😂
I will be away Monday, July 13 to help my sister move into her new home in London, ON. I have a feeling I’ll be needing the pool after that move! Huge congrats to her on this next chapter. 🏡
Other than the odd long weekend with my family, I’ll be around and available this summer.
And not to worry — enjoy your own time off, vacations, camping trips, cottage weekends, and summer plans. I’ll be here when you return. ☀️
Book online through the links in my bio or text 807.707.3134.
Anyone in Barrie have some sheets they are getting rid of?
Sometimes you have to do it yourself...

.pain with this post ♥️👌
"Compassionate care starts with listening."
Many people living with chronic pain have experienced being dismissed, minimized, or made to feel like their symptoms are either “too complicated” or “not enough” to fit neatly into the medical system’s boxes.
Navigating healthcare can be exhausting when patients are not fully heard, believed, or supported.
Pain is complex. It can be shaped by the body, nervous system, stress, trauma, past experiences, environment, access to care, and so much more. It deserves curiosity, not judgment.
As both a Registered Massage Therapist and someone with lived experience navigating a broken healthcare system, I understand how much communication matters. Being listened to can change the entire care experience.
That perspective guides my clinical practice every day: slow down, ask meaningful questions, listen closely, respect each patient’s experience, and work together toward realistic therapeutic goals.
Chronic pain patients deserve safe, informed, inclusive care — and they deserve to be believed.

☀️ My summer schedule is now available through the end of August.
My hours will vary slightly throughout July and August to accommodate family schedules, but a variety of daytime and evening appointments remain available.
If you are looking for a specific day or time and don't see availability online, feel free to send me a text. While evening appointments may be more limited on some weeks, I am always happy to see if there is a suitable option available.
Online booking is available 24/7:

I debated for a long time whether to share this here. It feels embarassing... I feel vlnerable... But I need the support of my people right now.
Many of you know me as an RMT, educator, former Massage Therapy Program Coordinator, colleague, or community volunteer. Over the past year, I've been navigating ongoing legal and regulatory proceedings related to a former educational role. While I have continued rebuilding my practice and moving forward professionally, the legal costs associated with responding to these matters have become significant.
Creating a fundraiser was not an easy decision, but after careful consideration, I recognized that I could not continue managing these costs entirely on my own.
If you would like to learn more, I've included the link below.
There is absolutely no expectation to contribute. I am simply sharing this as part of my professional and personal community, many of whom have asked how they can support me during this process.
Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support over the past year. I appreciate you all.

~ Cupping for shoulder tension + booking update ~
When you swim 7–9 times a week, your shoulders do a LOT.
For this young competitive swimmer, cupping is one of the tools we use around the shoulder and upper back area to help with tension and discomfort from high-volume training. We also include PNF stretching, pin-and-stretch style techniques, assessment, and movement-based care depending on what he needs that day.
Cupping isn’t some magical thing — it’s one option within a broader manual therapy plan, and for him, it’s something he finds really helpful.
____
Booking note: To keep online booking simple, I’ve removed individual add-on appointment options. Going forward, feel free to add “cupping” or “hot towels” in the comments section when booking so I can prepare for your treatment.

My website refresh is officially live ✨
I’ve been working behind the scenes updating my website to better reflect my practice, improve accessibility, and make booking and navigating services easier for patients.
You’ll find updated information about:
• Massage Therapy services
• TMJD care
• Pelvic health support
• Post-surgical care
• Fees, booking, and what to expect at your first visit
The goal was to create a smoother, more user-friendly experience while giving a better picture of who I am and how I approach care as an RMT.
Still some things to do, but go take a look around! What do you think?
