Lip neutralization is a specialized form of cosmetic tattooing that uses colour theory to balance darker or cooler lip pigmentation. By implanting carefully selected light, warm tones, we’re able to soften excess melanin and create a more even, balanced canvas over time.

Healing is a journey—not an overnight transformation. Lips go through multiple phases of healing, and the colour will continue to soften and evolve for several weeks. That’s why I prefer to wait at least 8 weeks before performing a touch-up, allowing the lips to fully stabilize before making adjustments.

The primary goal of the initial neutralization session is not to achieve the final colour—it’s to create a lighter, more even foundation. At the touch-up appointment, we can typically approach the lips more like a traditional Lip Blush, choosing a custom colour that best suits your desired healed result. 💋
