Very Fresh Session 1, Lip Neutralization
Lip neutralization isn’t about making lips “perfect” in one session, it’s about correcting undertones safely. This is especially crucial during a more advanced correction.
In this first session, the goal was to:
• Shift dark, ashy tones to a warmer base
• Create evenness without overworking
• Protect the integrity of the skin
✨ Overworking can lead to trauma, patchy healing, and stubborn colour
✨ Underworking (done correctly) sets up a beautiful second session
This result shows:
✔ Warmth successfully introduced
✔ Natural lip health maintained
✔ The perfect foundation for colour in session 2

Lip neutralization is a specialized form of lip blush designed to correct darker, cool, or uneven tones in the lips. Purple blue, or brown undertones can be neutralized to a soft baby pink.
Instead of adding a pink right away, we first balance and neutralize the natural pigment so the lips can heal into a soft, even base.
This treatment is ideal for:
• Melanin-rich lips
• Lips with dark borders or uneven tone
• Clients who feel their lips are cool-toned
Healing journey:
After your first session, lips may appear brighter or warmer, this is part of the process. As they heal, they soften into a more even, natural-looking tone (often a soft pink).
From there, we can move into your target colour at your next appointment for that perfect, customized result. 💋
