Is anyone else feeling the energy of Spring already? What a beauty start to the week. Excited to share after far too much research, I have decided on an LMS for the mentorship program and I'm pleased to be supporting a Canadian company.

I'm diving in this week getting back end systems set up while continuing with course development so if there's something you want to learn more about, let me know!

I'm also planning to offer quarterly guest lectures on a wide variety of topics and areas of clinical focus. So if there's a skill or area of practice you'd like to learn more about, share it here or send me a DM.

Of course we just got another update from the city about construction! Luckily we have 2 entrances to our parking lot as the Bayview entrance will be closed for work.

When driving south on Little Ave(currently one way southbound) you will turn right onto Mollard Crt then right into the parking lot. The green ‘X’ entry will be closed so follow the purple line.

For those able to attend this weekends lecture with Yvonne, I’ll be emailing the slide deck today.

Also ‘tis the season of construction and Bayview Dr is currently a one way street with access only from Little Ave south to Big Bay Point Rd.

Hotel update - room block agreement was not reasonable for savings. The Hampton & Fairfield Inn have rooms left but are low. Get booking all!

How is summer going so fast?! Quick update for those waiting on hotel info. The smaller hotel near the clinic I had hoped to reserve blocks in is closed for renovations.

We’ve got other hotels close by so I’ll lob it back to those attending (in case you want to use/collect points). Our choices are Fairfield inn and suites, Four Points by Sheraton and Hampton inn and suites.

If you can let me know by the end of the weekend I’ll get the rates reserved. I’d also like to plan a Saturday evening dinner so keep watching for another post about food (so we can reserve enough space).

I hope this post finds you all staying dry with this rainy summer we’ve been having. Quick post to start getting things ramped up for Yvonne’s rescheduled lecture on all things Blood.

We have settled on September 21/22 and I’ve started reaching out to hotels to get group rates. For those staying over, do you have a preference for a chain (for points)?

With so much construction in the area there is a smaller hotel not far from the clinic that’s walking distance to restaurants and easy access to the 400 for travel but there are several larger chains not far.

Registration is open/link is live for early bird (I’ll be going in later this morning to correct the date) for those that want to reserve their spot. Can’t wait to get together again to connect, learn and grow ❤️

Hive mind! I need your input. I’ve been hearing from many who really want to attend Yvonne’s lecture that the May dates don’t work.

I know how much y’all love Yvonne’s teaching and I want as many to attend as possible…..so we’re throwing around some thoughts. Let me know in the comments or DM which works best for you!

I know the summer can be a super busy time, and no one wants to come to Barrie between November and April so we have a small window hahahaha.

Soooo grateful the sun and warmth has started to return to Ontario! Few back end tech glitches on my end as I tried something new for early bird registration but I hope to have it all ironed out by the weekend.
