It's going to be a month of celebrating...we have some surprises in store🎁

Fridge clean out!!
While my family was away I tackled a long overdo project. Complete overhaul of my fridge. It's something I'd wanted to do knowing that we're getting into a serious period of swim training this season (all 3 kids) and I've noticed some nutritional issues that were creeping up due to lack of organization, early morning and limited time.
I purchased a few fridge organizers from Costco. Then I cleaned out each shelf -washed the shelves and threw out duplicates, expired condiments and forgotten items!
Next I grouped like foods together, and made healthy options more visible and appealing - that means taking produce out of plastic bags, washing items, peeling others and doing some basic prep like peeling garlic and onions.

OUTCOME?
I've noticed we have near to zero food waste now. Food is obvious- we see when we're low in things and leftovers are getting eaten (storing them in glass containers that are ready for reheating has really helped). I've been more inspired to make things like almond butter and hummus because the family is more likely to see it now!
This project has brought me more peace than I would have imagined, especially because nutrition is such an important part of our homelife. It's been 3 weeks and the family is keeping things in order so the outlook is positive!

What's your biggest food organization challenge?

Time to switch up your skincare routine! Skin is more likely to be dehydrated in these cold, dry, windy days❄️
