After winning the bronze medal in the women’s pole vault, - who lives in Caledon and trains with - has created quite the buzz. I had this logo idea for her that I quickly designed. Do you see it? Join the celebration for her next Friday August 23 at the Quarry in Caledon!

A truly perfect ending to the first PWHL season. I couldn’t think of a more deserving player to be the first to receive the Walter Cup as PWHL champion. In this journey to create a professional women’s hockey league, it was always Kendall Coyne who was leading the way. She was the face of the movement. She was the voice of the players. And as she hoisted the Cup above her head, you could see the pride and sense of relief on her face finally knowing that after all the hard work over the last 5 years, they did it, and she was holding the trophy to prove it! Congratulations Kendall (and PWHLMinnesota.) Also, to all my friends and colleagues at PWHL & Professional Women's Hockey League Players Association, congratulations on and amazing 1st season. You really created the professional organization that the players deserve. And of course, to all the players . You showed the sports world that women’s hockey is fast, exciting, and rough - and created millions of new fans this season. Congratulations again, everyone - looking forward to season 2!

Congratulations to the U11AA Barrie Colts of the Barrie Minor Hockey Association – our Team of the Month for April 2024!

The Colts finished their season by capturing the U11AA York Simcoe Championship 🏆 and punching their ticket to Oakville, where they went on to win the OMHA Championships! 🏆
