I had someone tell me this weekend that it felt like little ballerinas dancing on their face when I did their makeup.

It seriously was one of my favorite compliments ever.

To think someone felt that organic flow and movement made my heart happy.

This Sunday I was apart of the first elopement held at and what a dreamy day it was.

We did get a little rain and snow but that didn't stop these two from having the most intimate romantic celebration. Not only did I have the pleasure of doing hair but her husband Tom as well. Not too often that I get the groom in my chair!

This beautiful bride and I had a zoom trial to discuss her vision for hair and makeup. I knew from the moment we connected that she was kind of girl. She opted for a soft a natural makeup application and if you know me that's totally my jam!

This years Halloween looks!

I've been trying to support and purchase from local business as much as I can especially in these past few weeks.

I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to shout out some of my favourite local brands!

created this beautiful faux flower hair piece that I used in Natalie's hair. Charmaine is amazing! Right now she's creating hand made custom cards and they are beautiful. Who needs Hallmark when you have Charmaine around?! All cards are $6 + $1 shipping and handling, they even come with prepaid postage stamps!

PS. Natalies hair took less then 10 mins, 2 elastics & 4 Bobby pins, no hot tools needed 🙌🏼 PPS. Look at her little toes 😭

Thinking about not working makes me super emotional. I absolutely love what I do. Being apart of such special memories, meeting new people and collaborating with other creatives.

Anytime im feeling low i look back on past wedding days, reminding myself that we'll get back to mornings filled with laughs, makeup and mimosas.

With majority of my work being for weddings, headshots and bo***ir, I work with alot of neutrals.
Having this time home has allowed me to play with colour and experiment. Creating a different placement for my blush, wrapping it into my temple and high cheekbones.

Another pull through braid and freshly picked baby florals for Nat this morning.
These purple flowers are the first to blossom in our backyard. We love watching all the colours pop in our garden.
