Is the action of implementing pigment into the dermis layer of the skin with micro gauge needles. People familiar with tattoos will recognize the process. ller and lighter and easier to handle. The pigments are different too….. They are harmless, safe and inactive; don’t last as long as the inks used for regular tattoos…. We definitely don’t want to apply the same pigments on our face…. Is it dangerous? Like with any other tattoo, the skin can react in different ways. Some inflammation, redness, and even some bleeding are normal. The pigments I use are an inorganic combination of iron, titanium and chromium oxides in a glycerin and witch hazel base. Some colors will contain certified organic lakes. They are produced in California, USA, following high standards. I take very seriously all the sterilizing procedures. The needles are in a sealed pack, one use only. In rare cases, an infection could happen. In that case, a visit to your doctor is recommended, informing your technician about your problem. The proper post care will help a good healing process. I will provide instruction sheet and post care balm. Does it hurt? I use a topical anesthetic which works beautifully. You will feel some discomfort …. You are actually having a needle very close to your eyes!!! But, believe me…. You will feel some tickling, and awkward sensations…. But no pain …. I will apply the topic anesthetic as needed to assure your comfort. What do I have to know about micro pigmentation? Once you get the appointment, we will sit down and talk about what you want to have done. After knowing a little bit about your life style, health status, and some make up preferences, I will suggest colors and shapes that would match your skin type, hair color and face shape using an eye brow pencil. After your TOTAL approval, I will proceed with the tattooing process. Pictures will be taken before and after procedures. I always suggest to take several hours off your daily routine for the appointment…. It is a long process…. And we don’t want to rush it…. It is better to relax and take it easy…. After finishing, I will apply and antibiotic ointment. (Just a one time application). And instruction sheet and a post care balm will be provided for you to take home. We will discuss what to do and what not to do during the healing process. A second appointment (4 to 5 weeks later) will be scheduled for a touch up session. Because every skin is different, and we don’t really know how pigments behave in each skin type, I will correct and apply the final touches to accomplish the perfect look we want to achieve. How long does it last? It is very difficult to say….. It depends on your skin type, Micro pigmentation technic, life style (sun exposure reduces the life span and changes the colors of the pigments); some facial treatments and creams can affect the pigments too…. But, I would say that easily could last a couple of years…. Probably needing some revitalization of the color….. Many women are so use to not to have eyebrows….. It is sometimes difficult to get use to the new look…. That’s why I always suggest a very conservative approach…. It is always possible to darken and to make a thicker line but not to reduce it….. The touch up session is there for a reason and it is included in the price. Don’t be afraid to contact us and get a consultation. You will be totally happy with the results!!! Beautiful ladies out there!!
Let's talk about micro-pigmentation again.... Most of the people think that permanent make up is only about tattooing eyebrows and eyeliners.... mainly for enhancing what we already have or practicality.... somehow that is right....
But, we actually can do a lot more than that....
What most people don't know is that with this technic we can help post cancer patients to regain a bit of their confidence....
One of the many consequences of chemotherapy is alopecia.... the lost of hair can be dramatic for many patients....
We can help to get the appearance of their eyebrows back..... It's a little self esteem boost for women going through very hard times ..... Even if it could sound superficial, it is actually unbelievable how much a touch of the right color, applied in the right place can help !!!!!
Going a bit further on the matter of cancer patients.... Breast cancer survivor women go through a lot trying to get their lifes back..... Is not and easy road.... and sadly enough, is a quiet busy one....
There are different ways of reconstructing the breast after the mastectomy is done... Some "build" a fake ni**le.... ar**las..... but, what they don't do in the surgery room is getting the color of the area where ni***es should be.... That leaves the breast still looking weird....
Here is were we can finalize the process of getting your life back.... as normal as possible...
Applying the same technic of micro-pigmentation used for eyebrows and eyeliners, we can create the ar**la/ni**le complex... No matter what kind of surgery the patient had chosen, we can help a lot... if the area hasn't being created surgically, we can apply color, creating shadows in a way that will give the impression of actually a ni**le being there....
If the complex ar**la/ni**le has been done during the surgery, we still apply the color following what medically has been done.
