Many of our clients travel to see us. Sometimes it's easier to come a little early on Friday or stay through Monday and pop into the boutique while you're in town.

No need to overthink it.

Can you swim in your wig?

The short answer is... yes! 💦
But would we recommend it? No 💜

Whether your wig is synthetic or human hair, swimming exposes it to:
🏊 Chlorine
🏊 Salt water
🏊 Sunscreen
🏊 Friction
🏊 Tangling
🏊 Additional wear and tear

Can your wig survive it?
Absolutely.
Would we choose to put our favourite wig through it?
Probably not.

💜 Wig Lady Tip:
If you spend a lot of time at the pool, lake, cottage, beach, or on vacation, consider keeping a dedicated "swim wig" or "vacation wig."

That way you can enjoy your summer adventures without worrying about extra wear on your everyday favourite.

If you do decide to swim in your wig:
✔️ Make sure it is secure
✔️ Rinse it as soon as possible afterward
✔️ Wash and condition it promptly
✔️ Expect additional maintenance and tangling

At the end of the day, we'd rather help you protect your investment than repair unnecessary damage later.
Because confidence should travel with you — but so should good wig care. ☀️💜
