Fill in the blank: my posture usually falls apart when I'm ___. Whether it's scrolling your phone, driving, or sitting at a desk, we all have a position that gets the better of us. Tell us yours in the comments, we would love to hear it.

Balance naturally gets harder to maintain as we get older, and small shifts in stability often show up long before an actual fall does. Keeping the spine and joints moving well plays a real role in how steady you feel on your feet. If mobility has started to feel less dependable, it might be worth a conversation before it becomes a bigger problem.

I had a beautiful realization with one of my patients today.

They’ve been seeing me for chiropractic care and also doing physiotherapy. They told me they were feeling wonderful, and I was so happy to hear it. Then they said, “Honestly, I feel like physio is helping me more.”

My response was, “That’s amazing. I’m glad you’ve found something that’s working for you.”

But I sensed they might book another appointment with me because they didn’t want to hurt my feelings. So I told them:

“Please don’t worry about disappointing me. If physio is helping you, keep going with it. You don’t need to book with me out of obligation. And if there comes a time when you need my help again, I’ll be here.”

It reminded me that caring for someone means supporting their progress, even when that means they’re getting their care from someone else.

Your recovery belongs to you. Be honest about what’s helping, ask questions, and work with the providers who can support your needs along the way. You should feel comfortable having those conversations without worrying about anyone’s feelings.

As a practitioner, I want you to get better. Knowing you’re feeling wonderful is something worth celebrating, whichever path helped you get there.

Chiropractic care is often associated with back pain alone, but the nervous system connects far more than most people understand. Patients come to us for headaches, jaw tension, and even trouble sleeping, all linked to how the spine is functioning. If something has been bothering you that does not seem obviously connected to your spine, it might be worth a conversation.

Progress with chiropractic care rarely moves in a perfectly straight line. Some weeks feel like real breakthroughs, and others feel like you are back where you started, which is a completely normal part of how the body adapts over time. Sticking with your plan through those quieter weeks is often when the deeper, lasting changes are happening.

Myth or fact: cracking your knuckles leads to arthritis later in life. Drop your guess in the comments before you keep reading. It is actually a myth, the sound simply comes from gas bubbles releasing in the joint fluid, not any kind of joint damage. Curious how many of you already knew that one.

Before choosing a chiropractor, most people start by reading what other patients have said. A review does not just describe your experience, it becomes part of how the next person decides whether to trust their care to us. If we have helped you, sharing that story could be exactly what someone else needs to see before they book their first visit.

The nervous system does not just control movement, it also plays a role in digestion, immune response, and how well your body recovers from everyday stress. When the spine is misaligned, that communication can be interrupted in ways that show up far from where the actual restriction is. Regular chiropractic care is as much about that whole system running smoothly as it is about relieving pain.

Not every adjustment involves the hands-on twist most people picture. The Activator Method uses a small, spring-loaded instrument to deliver a precise, gentle force to a specific spot, making it a good option for patients who prefer a lighter touch. Ask us whether this approach might suit you better than a traditional adjustment.

Carrying a child on one hip, bending over a crib, and hunching during late-night feeds all add up in ways new parents rarely expect. These repeated, asymmetrical movements can quietly strain the low back and shoulders long after the newborn stage ends. If you are a parent dealing with aches that seem to have crept in gradually, we can help you figure out what is actually driving them.
