the last few months i've paused my business, pivoted careers, moved houses, started trying new things, and picked up old hobbies i couldn’t make time for before.
for the longest time, my content revolved around being a small business owner. every post was tied to launches, new products, or growing my business. when that chapter closed, i honestly found myself wondering... what do i even post now? just my art? murals?
but i'm finally realizing that this season isn't about having all the answers. it's about figuring it out, trusting the process, and finding peace in not knowing exactly where it's all leading. so if you've been feeling stuck because you don't know your "niche," maybe right now your job isn't to find one. maybe it's to explore!

dad came JUST to watch me golf and help me out (he didn’t even play) before i even had the chance, he would grab my bag and start pushing it for me 🥹
P.S. dad is thriving and in great health, playing golf almost every day, fishing in the evenings, gardening with mom at home, and he's been helping me golf too! ❤️

a little backyard & garden update 🌿
we had the backyard patio stones re-laid, added a space for stairs down from our upper deck, the garden fairy worked her magic clearing out all the overgrown weeds and I found our Article outdoor sectional on fb marketplace! 🧚☀️🌸

my artist journey 🎢🎨✍️🌱
sharing this career change online has felt a little vulnerable… most people get to make these kinds of decisions privately, but i felt it was important to share it with the community that has supported me and my family for so many years ❤️
and this pivot has been one of the best things i’ve ever done for myself
i don’t take any of the XXL SCRUNCHIE & CO™ era for granted. it gave me experiences, friendships, opportunities, and lessons that helped shape who i am today ✨
somewhere along the way, my definition of success changed, and i realized i had outgrown the life i worked so hard to build
i may not have it all figured out, but the pull back to art was too strong not to listen to 🖤
and if you’re in your pivot era, just remember: you’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience 🦋
