Neurotoxin treatment, also widely referred to as botox, is done to soften fine lines and wrinkles in a variety of areas from your forehead all the way down to your neck.

After a consultation to determine realistic goals and dosing plan neurotoxin is a quick treatment with no downtime. It takes roughly 14 days to take full effect. Your results will peak from 6-8 weeks and then begin to wear off. To maintain results, repeat injections are carried out between 3 and 4 months in most cases.

🚫 No alc beverages for
minimum 24 hours before treatment

📝 Book 4 - 6 week before any major events. This leaves room for touch up if needed at your 2 week follow up

❓Ask me any and all of the questions you have. My goal is to educate & make you feel comfortable in my hands

🚫 No advil, other NSAIDS or blood thinners minimum 24 hours before treatment (ALWAYS consult your Dr. before stopping a prescription blood thinner)

✅ Book a follow up for 2 - 3 weeks later, full results are in effect after roughly 14 days.

🤕 Expect a mild headache, you can take tylenol if needed. Continue to avoid Advil, NSAIDS & blood thinners for another 24 hours

🏃‍♀️🤸‍♀️ Don't exercise for minimum 24 hours. Don't bend or lie down for min 4 hours

🌞 Avoid excessive heat & sun exposure for 24 - 72 hours

👐 Don't touch or manipulate your face. Let it settle in place

➡️ A neuromodulator (such as botox or dysport) is injected in small doses into the muscle that surrounds the lips, known as the orbicularis oris.
➡️ Does NOT add volume but does give the appearance of a fuller lip by flipping it outward when smiling rather then allowing it to curl under.

Dynamic lines, static lines & preventative botox.

What's it all mean?

A dynamic line is one that we create when we make different facial expressions. It's there during the expression and then goes away.

A static wrinkle is one that is there at rest. They form over time as a result of repetitive facial movements and the natural aging process.

Preventative botox. When we inject small doses of botox or other neuromodulators into the facial muscles we decrease the amount of movement those muscles have. You can still show expression while at the same time not creating those static lines early on in life that & harder to treat later on.
