This bridesmaid who came to me with shorter hair and was worried about what we would be able to do with it for the wedding.
Before we started styling, she said:
”Sorry my hair is so short… I don’t know what we can do with it! I was thinking a half-up, but I don’t know if we can achieve it now that it’s short.”
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that you need long hair to have a beautiful hairstyle for a wedding. You absolutely don’t!
I’ve had so many shorter-haired clients who were convinced they couldn’t have an upstyle, and we’ve been able to create a full updo that worked beautifully for their hair.
And when a full upstyle isn’t quite possible, there’s almost always a way to make a half-up style work. Just like we did here! 🥰
Short hair does NOT mean limited options. It’s all about working with the length, texture and density you have to create something that makes you feel beautiful and confident. ✨

A new chapter for KL Beauty Studio 🤍✨
If you’ve been following along, you already know that I’m making a big change and moving into a new salon space!
This decision wasn’t an easy one because I’ve genuinely loved my time with the girls at September Salon and everyone who has been a part of that chapter. But when an opportunity came along that aligned so perfectly with where I see my business going, especially with my goal of elevating and growing the bridal side of my business, I knew I had to take the leap. 🥺
So… we’re officially entering our salon suite era! 🥂
And since I’m starting from scratch, I thought… why not bring you along for the whole process? 👀
