For anyone who knows me you know how much I LOVE to journal. I have journals for my journals and then I have a nature journal and a sketchbook and and and and….
So this year I have decided to take my journalling one step further. Every year I draw my yearly spread from my Herbcrafters tarot deck, but this year I ended up drawing mostly from the major arcana, which means a HUGE year for me.
I decided to make it a monthly practice to do a deep dive into the monthly card, the plant for that month and use it for soul work, shadow work and nature study. This is what I’ve created for myself for January!

This is a year of awakening + liberation.
Act I — Grounding & Calling
Queen of Earth → Hierophant → Death
You stabilize → clarify values → release what no longer fits.
Act II — Inner Work
High Priestess → 2 of Air → Devil
You turn inward → face uncertainty → meet your shadow.
Act III — Liberation
Queen of Air → Tower → Justice → 8 of Air
You speak truth → false structures fall → alignment restores → mental freedom follows.
Act IV — Integration & Radiance
Hermit → Sun
You integrate → you shine.

Pretty little holiday nails by my daughter!
Last year we got her a nail kit, and this year she is putting out the cutest little manicures and nails.
