Happy December 1 ❄️ I have a few color appointments left to offer before the holidays. These are open to both new and existing clients, however will not necessarily be booked as first come first served. Send me pictures of your goals, current hair, as well as your hair history, along with which of these appts would work for you. If you’re just looking for a cut I have a few spots here and there, send me a message and I’ll give you some options!

It’s been important for me to share the why behind my price changes to show it’s not about making money but more about respect for my clients and also for myself as a stylist.

I’ve been in this industry now for 13 years. First as an aesthetician then moving to hair. In all those years my prices have only changed 3-4 times. I’ve always made a point to keep my prices affordable, and will always strive to do so. However I also need to respect myself, the time and education it takes to do my job. Colour is not what it used to be, we have so many more techniques, styles, terminology etc that it takes more time, more product and a lot more education to be skilled at it. As with everything, over time there has also been a rise in cost of product. So I’m sharing with you my new price list for colour services, as always cuts will be complimentary with your colour. Please note these are a starting point and should be used as a guideline, adjustments will be made to these prices based on things like toners, product use or treatments. If you’d like a more specific price quote I’m happy to schedule you for a complementary consultation where we can discuss your hair goals and make a plan.

With my reopening is coming a few changes, Beginning with what I feel is the most important.
Something that has always felt off to me is men/woman pricing in the salon. Sure there is the
argument of men’s hair is short and takes no time, and woman tend to want more complicated cuts and longer styles…..except that’s no longer true. People have truly evolved and taken on styles that make them feel good regardless of what social norms may say. It’s been a standard in the industry for so many years that as a new stylist it was always easy to base my prices on others around me. A big part of opening my own space was to do what felt right to me, creating a space where everyone is has the freedom to be themselves without judgement. So let’s start with this change. Effective immediately cuts will be priced on a sliding scale depending on length of the hair, short || medium || long and the detail in my work. Gender will no longer play a role. For some this will mean a price decrease and for others an increase. I appreciate all your business and If you have any questions about your upcoming appointments please feel free to reach out.

Woo hoo, I am excited to say I will be reopening my doors June 2, but with this comes some challenges. To be as a fair as possible I will be going through and rebooking those who had appts that were cancelled in April-May first. If you did not have one booked you are welcome to reach out and I’ll add your name to my list. If you have an appt booked for after June 2, it remains in place. Please have patience with me, I am only one person, one person who also has 2 kids and another business. I know everyone wants in and I will do my best to see you all as quickly as I can.
I’m excited to be back as well as to be making some changes. I’ll be highlighting these important changes and sharing more about the why in a separate post over the next few days.
