🍯🧅 Homemade Honey & Onion Syrup
Making my homemade honey and onion syrup! Simply slice the onions, place them in a jar, and add honey. Liquid or creamy honey its fine. The onion will release its juices and naturally soften the honey. Leave it on the counter for a few hours and let the magic happen! ❤️

At this time of year, the worker bees start kicking the drones out of the hive. 🐝

Look at this little guy trying to get back inside! 😅 Unfortunately for him, drones don’t stay in the hive over winter. Their job is done for the season, and the colony needs to conserve its food for the winter bees.

Nature can be tough! 🍯🐝

After losing all my hives to a wasp invasion in 2024, I’m not taking any chances this year. 🐝
I noticed a few wasps hanging around my hives and trying to get inside, so I’m taking action early. I’ve been removing every wasp I see and I’ve put a protective net around my two hives.
My bees have worked too hard to build these colonies, and I’ll do everything I can to keep them safe. 💛🐝
Prevention is better than another invasion!
